Executive Track-tion Four Phase Approach
Our approach generates amazing results for both you and your
entire organization because we manage the entire coaching
process in four distinct phases to ensure consistency, quality
and sustainable positive change. We can work with you privately
if you choose, or we can contract with your organization and
work with you, your management and human resources director.
Phase One - Clear 360 Contracting
First, we take a BIG picture systems view. We dig deep to
understand:
- You.
- Your leadership style.
- Your role and business objectives
and goals.
- Your organization's vision,
values, strategy, culture, spirit and leadership mindset.
- Your organization's history,
present situation and long-term business objectives and
goals.
- Your management's and other
key stakeholders' roles, desired outcomes and timing.
- Your current situation and
the challenges you face.
We also explain our process up front to you and all stakeholders
to prepare all parties for coaching, and we provide you with
the necessary background information so you decide whether
there is the right chemistry between us for building an effective
coaching relationship.
By focusing on alignment at the outset of the coaching process,
we balance the needs and desires of management, human resources
and you. Alignment and open dialogue at the outset also sets
clear organizational and individual expectations regarding
confidentiality, business results, performance targets, roles,
responsibilities, timing, specific milestones, and costs.
Phase Two - Comprehensive Personal Assessment
(which can include Center for Creative Leadership's Benchmarks
360 Leadership Assessment Survey)
You'll find we are coaches who are following our own life
purpose and can guide you toward yours. We start each assessment
by meeting with you. We ask you questions that help dig deep
inside your soul to uncover what is really most important
to you and what's holding you back.
Through one-on-one interviews with key stakeholders, we measure
whether your vision and leadership performance to date is
aligned with your organization's vision and expectations.
We gather objective quantifiable and qualitative data to get
a sense of all sides of the issue. One of the quantifiable
tools we can use is the Center for Creative Leadership's Benchmarks®
360 Leadership Assessment Survey. After the interviews and
surveys, we may ask to shadow you for a day to observe you
firsthand to link feedback to actual business events.
We then help you experience change as growth. We share our
findings with you. We help you understand and digest how your
current leadership performance compares to expected business
results and performance targets. Next, we work together
to formulate an executable leadership development action plan
with specific deliverables, milestones and accountability.
The plan uses your strengths
and teaches you how to address the gaps. We also facilitate
scheduled progress meetings involving you and key stakeholders.
Once the plan is complete, we close the loop by presenting
it with you to key stakeholders to gain buy-in and commitment
to your leadership development.
Phase Three - One-on-one Coaching and
Developmental Planning Sessions
Through a series of one-on-one coaching sessions, we safely
guide you into your learning zone so you can look at the world
in a new way. Through
the creation of a broader view and some unlearning, you'll
discover your untapped leadership potential and see how you
can share your unique strengths in a meaningful way to lead
more effectively, achieve a greater sense of fulfillment and
deliver better than expected business results. We provide
the tools, techniques and support you'll need to acquire the
discipline and practice to stay on course.
Phase Four - Progress Assessment and
Coach Review
Interviewing key stakeholders, we measure the progress you
have made in meeting expected leadership performance targets
and achieving business goals. We give credit for progress,
address areas where gaps still exist, and work with you to
make the necessary changes to your leadership development
plan. We again close the loop by presenting it to key stakeholders
to gain buy-in and commitment to the next phase of your development.
