Betsey Dalbeck is a recognized leader in turning executives
into vision leaders and teams into self-organized, self-managed
units focused on driving forward organizational goals. For
20 years, she was on the front lines facing the difficult
challenges of running an organization and rallying staff behind
a vision and aggressive goals. Betsey knows from firsthand
experience what it takes to achieve meaningful, successful
individual and organization-wide change -- with minimal angst.
Founding Fresh Tracks, Inc. to Help Others Create New Paths
to Success®
In 1999, Betsey founded Fresh Tracks, Inc. to follow her
own life path and partner with executives like you looking
to successfully transform themselves or their organizations.
She chose the name Fresh Tracks, Inc. because it signifies
the moment when one ventures forth into untouched territory
and begins to leave a clear mark for others to follow.
Fresh Tracks, Inc. offers consulting solutions, vision alignment
assessments, leadership development training, and personal
and corporate executive coaching to CEOs, presidents, business
owners, and managers of corporate business units. Clients
range in both size and scope from financial giants like Fidelity
Investments to entrepreneurial think-tanks like Babson College.
Industry experience spans several sectors including consumer
products, education, financial services, high tech, marketing
communications, and nonprofits.
Career Prior to Founding Fresh Tracks, Inc.
Before founding Fresh Tracks, Inc., Betsey held management
positions with several top advertising agencies: DDB Needham,
Leo Burnett, J. Walter Thompson, and Hill/Holliday. There
she gained functional experience in strategic planning, marketing,
operations, business development, recruiting, organizational
training & development and change management.
Wilderness Leadership Training Fuels Change Management Success
Fueling her change agent success is her training in wilderness
leadership. In fact, Betsey took a mid-career hiatus to drive
and camp solo across North America and up to Alaska to study
with the National Outdoor Leadership School. Betsey is also
a graduate of Outward Bound and currently sits on both schools'
Advisory Councils. In addition to her advisory council work,
she sits on the board of Outdoor Explorations, conducts leadership
training workshops for the Appalachian Mountain Club, and
facilitates corporate Outward Bound programs. Betsey credits
her wilderness leadership training with deepening her understanding
and respect for true leadership effectiveness.
Education and Professional Training
Betsey graduated from Simmons College and completed coursework
at Harvard and M.I.T. Her professional training includes workshops
in Center for Creative Leadership's Benchmarks® Certification,
Open Space Technology, Newfield Network's New Language of
Leadership, Outward Bound Professional National Facilitator
Training, DISC and Myers-Briggs personality profiling.
